When determining the medical fitness of applicants and licensed drivers, DVLA must ensure that you meet the criteria as set on their guidelines.

You may be requested to have a cardiac test before proceeding with your application.

The most common heart tests required by the DVLA and TfL are:

  • Exercise Treadmill Test
  • Echocardiogram

In some cases the DVLA requires to have a Stress Echocardiogram.

These tests can be easily and conveniently arranged at the London Centre for Advanced Cardiology.
